Summit Venue
The Legal Design Summit 2025 will take place at the University of Helsinki’s main building at 5 Aleksanterinkatu, 00100 Helsinki, Finland. The venue is in the heart of the city centre, next to Senate Square and the Helsinki Cathedral. You’ll find a fully accessible entrance on Aleksanterinkatu and the beautiful Great Hall inside.
Use tram 2, 4 or 7 to get to the venue – the Senaatintori stop is right around the corner. Helsinki Central Station is a short 7‑minute walk away.

Getting There
From the airport: Helsinki Airport (HEL) is about 30 minutes from the city centre. Take the I or P train directly from the airport to Helsinki Central Station, then walk or hop on tram 2, 4 or 7 to reach the venue. Taxis and airport buses are also available outside the terminal.
By train: Long‑distance trains arrive at Helsinki Central Station. From there, it’s a short walk along Keskuskatu to Aleksanterinkatu, or you can take the trams mentioned above.
By bus/tram: The HSL network covers the entire Helsinki region. You can purchase day tickets via the HSL app. Tram lines 2 and 4 stop at Senate Square near the venue, and numerous buses serve nearby stops.

Travel Tips
- Weather: Late autumn in Helsinki can be chilly (0–5 °C) with occasional rain or snow. Bring warm layers and waterproof shoes.
- Currency: Finland uses the Euro (€). Credit and debit cards are widely accepted, and contactless payment is common.
- Language: Finnish and Swedish are the official languages, but English is widely spoken, especially in the city centre.
- Emergency number: Dial 112 for police, fire or medical emergencies.
